Props for the article but how many people are listening to mixtapes in the era of music being solely a product made to draw attention to an artist's auxilary income streams?

Thanks for your comment. I think people are still consuming mixtapes at a high rate; it's just an over abundance of bad music that a lot of artists put out that no one really wants to listen to. The point of the article though was for independent artists to draw their attention from brands like datpiff and build their own brand. That should be all of our top priority as artists and producers. That's where my focus has been.
