Can someone explain to me what a work for hire is and whether or not a work for hire get royalties? If I pay for a track that means the track is mine and I can do anything I want with it. Do I put the producer on the copyright and if you pay for work for hire do you copyright your song/music as a Sound Recording or Work of the Performing Arts?
