at what point should a producer get management or a promoter for his music

recently i have been coming up with really good work and throwing big money on mixing,mastering,photo art for my beats and pretty confident that my stuff is good enough to look ahead for promotion. Self promoting is very slow but i do work a lot and the other time its spent on other personal things plus trying to make beats so its hard to were all hats and i would rather focus on music then the business side.

I recommend the "Do it yourself" philosophy. Best to pay when things get too chaotic and your time spent producer is suffering.
