I'm still doing it. I got lazy for a few years and didn't really put out a lot of new music. About a year ago I got interested in beat making again so I started putting out more music and submitting it to my usual companies (Rumblefish, Getty , Jinglepunks). I also did some experimenting with releasing music through CDbaby.com. My most recent Rumblefish check was decent and I'm sure it's due to me being more proactive about putting out more material. Hopefully my BMI statement will look nice next month. Although I took a break from submitting music, I was still getting royalty checks from all three companies and BMI. I haven't missed a royalty payment since 2007. I finally got one of my friends to follow my advice and now he's getting placements as well.
