ok so this dude hit me up, pretty much asking for a few beats to giv to his artists. he claims to work for warner/ingrooves. he told ill pretty much b making the money thru royalties via BMI & soundexchange, assuming the beats are free upfront. (exclusive rights as well) he showed me the contract pretty much saying i will own 50% publishing and at the bottom is says split sheets with blank percentages between, me, the artist, and label assuming its negotiable. i wanted to revise my beats contract to meet with his contract but also adding that i still own 100% copyright of the beat etc.. what are the split sheets and wat percent should it be?should i add my revised contract wen i send the beats to him? and does it sound legit? someone help plz lol
