Soundcloud Signs Licensing Deal With Warner Music, Announce Paid Subscription Model

It's the spotifytization of times! Seriously, I don't think this will seriously affect most of it's users, being them only listeners or amateur producers. The free subscription will still be there the way we know them, and people will still listen to new artists, djs and producers the way it has always been.

A little late to the party, don't you think? I have never seen SoundCloud as a place to play commercial music. I don't go there looking for Warner Music Group artists.

Maybe they want to lean on majors because they've opened themselves up to so many of us "indies" that the chances of finding music you like on there get worse every day.
