Should I Tag My Beats?

I am an A&R for Toolez. I posted a few posts about looking for new beats for his new album. I'll put my take on this first hand...tagging will never hurt your chances, for us at least. We still listen to it everytime.

Industry people go through so many beats that tagging does help identify who it is, but if it isn't tagged, there are other beats the artist can go over while we wait for the untagged version. If they are hassling you about an untagged version right away, unless the beat is absolutely disgustingly awesome, something is fishy.
