Sending contract with Lease?

Yo FP!!

Was just wondering if i should start sending contracts when i sell leases? As at the moment, im only sending contracts when a customer purchases exclusive rights.

If a contract is necessary, what should it include? On my website, these are the lease terms;

- Use for one commercial use only (Radio, Mixtape, Album e.t.c)


- I still owns full rights to the beats


- Distrubution Limit 2,000 Copies


- Receive Untagged

Should the contract just basically include that?.. But if it states that on my website, is a contract for leases still necessary? Of course if its in my best interest, i will start sending out contracts with leases.

The lease game is a bit tacky. I do it here and there, but usually just do it on the strength. Send the contract, but don't expect anyone to sign it. Get what you can while you can.
