I recently purchased some soundkits from a business for Royalty Free. I was wondering what if I make a beat using those loops, drums etc. in it. Chopped and tweaked the sounds on those loops to my liking, Will I be able to sell the beat? or will I get in trouble for doing that?
Also, I received a message from a Artist who said he wanted to hear and use some of my beats. I sent him a beat or 2 to record on because I heard some of his work and I feel we can make it big if we both really promoted. The thing is though those beats were freshly made and I didn't copyright them (even though I usually do) because I was on a budget. Although, he was the only one I sent them too and I asked for shout out so we can push this music.
Will I be ok on that part?
