Radio and how you get paid *Advanced

Hey guys,

I'm in the process of getting a couple songs on the radio in Japan, U.S and Canada and I want to know how much money I get per radio spin, and per song/album sold. I am a producer/songwriter, I am part of a production team of two others and we all write, and produce. So we have agreed on a 25% split between us 3 and the artist (performer).

I would just like to know how much people make per spin, and what the standard rate is per album sale for producers/songwriters.

Any help, advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys

There is no definite answer. It depends on a lot of factors. ASCAP and BMI calculate royalties diffrently. International spins will get you a diffrent rate than domestic spins. Royalties for radio spins are not the same as royalties from album sales. You should contact your PRO for this.
