Anyone here have any success with TV/Film licensing?

I just had my first tune (an underscore kind of tune) accepted to a music publishing library.
How long does it take for a client (movie/tv show/video game) to license the song? Do songs usually get multiple placements? It's a non-exclusive library.

Their clients are shows like Dexter and Hannibal so they seem legit, and it's good they take the time to actually review and edit the submissions so they can best pitch them to their clients.


Does anybody have any success with placements? / knowledge on time and frequency of placements?

There is no set amount of time it takes for a song to get used. Some get used quickly, some take a few months or years, and some never get used. Don't sit around waiting for your music to be used. Keep writing new stuff and sending it in.
