Question about deal/contract when hiring a session singer

Hi FP's,

If I'm hiring (paying in a check on-the-spot at the recording studio) someone to sing some original lyrics to a tracking I'm producing for commercial purposes, is there a simple deal memo that I can have them sign at the session that basically states that they will get vocal credit but this payment that they're accepting is the only pay that they'll be receiving. Or, what's this type of deal/contract called?

Thanks for your time and advice.

It's called a "performance release," and should include the term/phrase "work for hire." Google-search should yield a number of examples.

The above should not be misconstrued as legal advice.
