I've concluded that you want to use your own website to sell beats. There's just more you can do, and more people you can reach.
You've got to be thinking about plugins, and how they can make your site faster. Things like that. Youre always going to be limited on a platform.
That being said, I suggest, and what most producers with thier own site do. You just get an html code from a site like myflashstore or soundclick, I think beatstars has one.
You basically want to embed that code onto your page, and build around it, text video, whatever gets people to that page.
Whats also cool is you can post this html code on however many sites you please.
Owning and operating a website is not expensive. Anybody can do it. With wordpress look for a plugin like beaver and bullsh*t a nice looking site and save $2500 paying some guy who knows nothing about e-commerce to design your site.
