    so you can lease a beat and then they will ask for a fee later on down the road After you pay them ?

    I wish people would stop using the term "lease"... it is not the proper term and anybody using it will look like an idiot if they are ever in a professional situation.

    The proper term is "license".
    I am expressing my opinion.
