More producers than rappers nowadays?

Like the title says... Every second guy is a "producer"
when they see a rapper they flood him like crazy!! "buy ma beatz $5

is it not worth it to be a producer anymore? Or am i just exaggerating

I think producers are more prominent on the internet but in general I'd say there is more rappers out there.
