Label's cut to artist/rapper

Just curious what the average (decent) rapper's percentage is these days when signing on with a
label who is providing an experienced producer and marketing staff with excellent funding.

about 10-12%
up to 20%
and an advance
and you don't see another dime of royalities till all recoupable expenses have be retain from sales back to the label
but then you have breakage fees,manufacturing/packaging deductions and other costs alot of stuff before you see those royality checks
or you can be on a point system 1 point=about $.08 of retail sale price per unit
