I've been curious how those artists only getting played outside of FM radio are doing. I think each station has their own "formats" so if an artist does follow such format, they could easily get regular rotation? They get royalties for this, right?
I'm surprised FM radio don't pay much and have often wondered how those artists got to be on radio when it should be free to get on radio considering they don't even pay much.
