Hello just had 4 tracks signed to a digital download digital download label with a % 65 to us %35 to the label split
the ep will be released in may on ITunes,Amazon, Beatport, Juno, Trackitdown, Emusic, Spotify.

has anyone had a deal like this before how do these things work is their money to be made why would it take so long to relese

Of course there is money to be made.

How do these things work, why does it take so long to release?

That information can and and should be answered by the label you've signed to, it should also be in the contract you've signed
