just posting again since i don't think anyone read my first post. i wanted to know if any other producers/engineers have had an internship and what type of skills, lessons, and experiences have you taken from it.

just posting again since i don't think anyone read my first post. i wanted to know if any other producers/engineers have had an internship and what type of skills, lessons, and experiences have you taken from it.

Yes, I've interned for a few big record labels. Had both good and bad experiences. What I learned most from the internship was the business side of the industry. Skills.. nothing I didn't already know, most of the magic was starting with good recordings and summing.

Also gained a lot of connections and clients through my internships.
