If i sell a beat exclusively can I still... ?

Im a bit of an amateur when it comes to selling beats... so please forgive me.

But I am wondering if I sell a beat exclusively am I still able to request that they say the track was produced by me? or is it no longer related to me at all. And am i still able to have the instrumental on my soundcloud page or will I have to remove it?

you set out all of that in the contract of sale - iotw if you have not stated it then there is no limitation on what the purchaser can do

also you need to understand the difference between selling an exclusive use contract and a ghostwriting contract - exclusive use does not give away any royalties or other rights; ghostwriting on the other hand means giving up all future claims to the work, it is as if you had no connection to the work other than that someone paid you (hopefully) a shitload of money for it...

consider your next moves carefully and consult a lawyer to finalise the wording of your sales contracts (a one time fee to maximise your wealth later on)
