How important is tags?

some ppl think it's super important for protection but I hear ppl saying they cut out of the tags

rip it off with some software.

but I wouldn't worry about it as much ...focus on

1.marketing

2.networking with other music business professionals

3.networking with up and coming artists (online,face to face,and on the phone) move conversations from online to the phone and hopefully face to face create true working/personal relationships

4.and keeping your image and online presence professional

Agree 100 percent, some people really let tags and fears hold them back from actually accomplishing goals smh.
