What scam? So now, running a business, selling a product that people actually want is a scam? OP broke down his process to creating his successful business.

Like I said, you are probably in the 9-5 rat race. No real entrepreneur would ever make the comments you made.

OP created a system that works for him 24/7. He makes money while he sleeps. He has FREEDOM. Freedom is most important in life.

OP is doing what the average person doesn't have the balls to do. Give credit where credit is do.

I don't doubt this guy 1 bit... For a some it will work great for others it will seem to fail as though it's a scam. These 'selling dream' ideas can and do work. I personally just wouldn't chose to progress with this method.

I can see a lot of standard major business practices that have been remoulded into the digital realm here.

The OP is selling a dream.

It may be true for him at the moment. But that could change. Business is tricky that way. Today's success story could be tomorrow's cautionary tale. Plus his dream will not necessarily become your dream. Sometimes you can copy the same exact system and still end up with subpar results.

I don't know if he is really making $8,000 a month. Maybe he did make $8,000 in a month. But does he do it consistently from month to month? How many months has he been making $8,000 a month for? What was the purpose of stating that he is making $8,000 a month?

People just go along with these "success" stories with no proof. He could have stolen that story from somewhere else. People do things like that to seem more credible and successful than they truly are. That is how these things work.

Dig a little deeper before you label me a hater. What I say can be proven wrong. I would like to be proven wrong on these things for a change. The truth about the OP can be found with some due diligence. Things may not be as glamorous as they appear.

all you are is a PHD. kick rocks.

Ayyyy

This is brilliant. Finally someone posting real results with real methods. My friend, keep going. They say you only get haters when you're on the right track!

But that's capitalism for you I guess, the worst system apart from all the other ones.
Okayyyy....so maybe you think a socialist music industry is better, where the government hands out free beats to poor artists. Or, a communist music industry, where everyone contributes their beats to a big pool according to the quotas established by the government, and then artists stand in line to get their monthly beat allotment.

Oooh, no! I've got it....How about a fascist music industry, where big corporations decide what to sell and fix the price for consumers. Wait a sec...that sounds familiar.

Actually, I think it's really inspiring that an individual with hustle...and maybe some talent/skill...can make a living off their own creativity by using some basic technical knowledge.

Thanks, crimeethics....I hope your beats aren't shitty...but even if they are, it's still inspiring. The producers/musicians with levels of talent that I can only dream about, but who sit there waiting for the world to come to them....well, they'll be waiting for a looooooong time.

"Sales" is not a bad word....it just means telling people about what you've got that might help them. So if you think that's wrong...then enjoy your couch.

In my opinion,
That first negative response was a good way to see your true success however funny it may sound.

I appreciate you posting your knowledge. Thank you for your time and the care that went into giving us this information.

some of you have this trigger that goes off in your brain whenever you hear "email marketing" that screams SPAM to you.

I am not stuffing my beats down anyones throats. All i do is send an email whenever i have a new beat to sell. I try not to send more than one email per day. These people opt in to MY list... it is their choice to do this. I am not cold emailing any and every email address that I see.... that is illegal.

The people receiving my emails are receiving them for one reason and one reason only. Because they want to. In EVERY SINGLE email there is a part that tells them to unsubscribe with a link if they don't want these emails. I actually encourage people to unsubscribe because its better for my list. I do not want to be sending emails to anyone who is going to mark my messages as spam. As soon as that happens, my emails no longer reach peoples inbox. At that point they start to go to the promo and spam folder. I do not want this so I only give value to my email list. The second that anyone on my list sees me as spam.... i'm doomed. This hasn't happened because i'm NOT spam. These people are looking for beats and I am offering them.

Don't get it twisted. This is not a spam scheme. This is just getting in front of my customers.

This is why i detailed my social media process so much and how I grow my list. The more targeted your list, the more value you bring. When you start getting every tom dick and jane on your list any way that you can.... all you are doing is spamming.

Some of you guys need to remove the stigma that you have with email marketing. EVERY successful musician does it. I won't have some noob producer telling me i'm a spammer when you could literally join a list for Jay-Z, Kanye West, Eminem and every other other artist right now this second on each of their websites.

I think you came about this post in a very respectable manner. You shared your marketing process. You published a how to guide for other producers. You attempted to put some substance into your post. Good job.

Not everyone has a plan to make money from their passion. I'm glad you do. Get your money.

Biggest thing to note here is:

OP HAS NOT POSTED A LINK TO HIS BEATS.

Why?

Until we know why, I think it's best to assume everything he says is just a lie...

From a business perspective, it seems like a good outline on how to earn money. Thanks for sharing OP, very interesting stuff. I come from a background in finance, and most of the producers I meet have a, "Im dope at making beats, so eventually Ill get on" attitude. I've met none that actually use common sense and hard work. Most have big egos and only think of the quick bucks. If someone offers them $50 bucks for something easy, they will take it. Offer them a plan in which they won't immediately get a few bucks, and they think it's a waste of time. What you have here is basically a very condensed, yet solid business plan.

Until I hear the product, it's all just talk. Unfortunately that bit of critical information is missing. I study business extensively as well, but I'm not sold on this plan...yet.
The product is always more important than the plan to sell it. Always give your fans/customers/users quality! Mr. Crime Ethics is unwilling to share this part of the scheme.
...And, well, if you're hear to talk about business, U.S. stock futures predicted a horrible day for the markets yesterday...'tis a shame.

That is the thing. The product the OP is selling is his story! He doesn't need to prove that his beats are great or horrible. He is selling a story and people are already buying it.

Why? Because people want to believe that they too can make $8,000 a month from selling beats. He has the attention of people that are desperate to learn more about how his program works. The program will not work for 99.9% of the people that follow, but that doesn't matter.

The dream of possibly making $8,000 a month from selling beats will get others to spend money. The money is made from selling a dream, not selling music.
