how do you guys contact with record label

I am working in Korea.
I've always dreamed working in America.
how do u guys apply to record label?
do u just send your demo to them?
 
ya, if you fit the sound, they'll get in contact. Also look into online radio. Labels often do radio shows and need music to play. Submit your music to the DJs who spin on the shows. They're cool about it and will be in contact.

No thats definitely not true. This only happens to artist being approached by majors.

For the 90% of indie small/medium or even large labels, they go through demo submissions. This means they listen to their friends and network contacts for a potential signing or even siv through their designated demo email address.

Also depends on what genre you produce.
