I finally have my first compilation LP on iTunes and releasing a new EP soon.
I'm using distrokid to distribute the music to all of the major online stores. Does anybody have any tips or tricks when it comes to using this service? Can I set my own prices, or is it up to the store to choose. I read somewhere that the store sets the price and takes a 30-40% cut. Also, how do artists get payed through spotify? Is it on a kind of pay per stream formula?
If anybody has more knowledge, can you please share some?
