Do labels find you or you need to find them?

I had read a lot of threads about how to get signed by a label and in the other side, we have almost all famouse producers saying in their interviews that if you are good enought, labels will fight for you. can someone please tell me which is most likeley to happend?

It's a two way street. Most of the time you have something worth the label investing their time into.

Ask yourself what could you gain from being signed in the streaming and download era. Indie isn't for everyone nor is major for everyone and the business is about what success means personally to you and no one else but you.
