Hello all, maybe you can help me with this... I am producing music in collaboration with a singer. I don't sing at all, I am just composing, arranging, mixing and mastering. She is composing the lyrics and she sings. We have a few tracks ready and I don't quite know what to do next. Should I open my own label and sign this singer? If not, how do I promote the tracks? Should I also put my name on the tracks or just her name? I mean...should I promote myself as well or just highlight the singer? There is another issue...my real name. In case I decide to promote myself as well, I would rather use a pseudonym than my real name. How can I register with the artist name and still get royalties? How do I link my real name with artist name in order to get the royalties I'm supposed to get? Thanks for your help!
