I searched around the Internet + here and I still can't seem to come up with a clear answer. When filling out forms for BMI / ASCAP, as a producer, how do you go about registering as a composer / publisher, or do you even need to be registered as both? I mean I know there are two different forms, but do you use the same information or different? Example, do you need a separate business bank account for publishing as opposed to a composer? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
