When the time comes for a tour, Can/Do Producers go? In my specific situation, I exclusively produced the album, and the artist has been my friend since high school (if that even matters). We would mainly be working on new music on the bus and such.

This depends on what the producer contributes to the tour itself. Artists go one tour for a number of reasons, as do producers. The answer to your question depends on circumstances that require the producer to be on the same to as the artist. How do you think tours work exactly?
