hey fp!!
i came here to ask more about being a writer. if i was to work with a major artist and they liked my beat and wanted it for their album(after we discuss payment, contracts, exclusives, etc.) and if i am ONLY singed as a WRITER for BMI or ASCAP will i still get my fair cut/split as a producer (50 or 100% i guess) and get paid? do i HAVE to make my own indie publishing co. for myself to get EVERY DIME? also if i could only be a writer what info would i give the artist/a&r/management or whoever? my cae #, and my PRO Affiliation?
