Hey guys, so I got some guy wanting to buy exclusive rights on a beat. He is an independent artist but he has a nice buzz going so far he has around 35k followers on twitter and stuff. He says with a contract of course, for his debut album which will be on iTunes, if I give him the beat it would be on the point system and I get paid as the album/song gets played/purchased and he wants exclusive rights for the beat to use. I could definitely use some clout and some placements and it sounds like I would still get paid and Im not lifting a finger without a contract. What do you guys think about this? I am curious because I have never done this before as far as back end/point system. Let me know if you guys have done this before or heard of it whether its good or bad.
