ASCAP Question?

I currently made a beat for a new artist. She got it as an exclusive and now we ready to register the song with ASCAP. I'm the publisher and she the writer. Do I add myself as a writer as well for composing the beat? I know the percentage is 50% between the publisher and the writer that equals to 100%. I need feedback!

Well, you guys are both writers and publishers sooo.... I mean, unless she's letting another company take over her publishing.
