Hi,
I've been producing for about year and a half, and have never collaborated with a vocalist, so this will be a learning experience for me. Though I'm relatively new, I'm a perfectionist and put a lot of time into getting the right sound.
I'd like to make surreal / abstract hip hop based music but I don't want to completely vanish up my own arse, just partially. If the scale of abstract music from one to ten, one being the least 'out there' say Brian Adams, 10 being the most represented by Philip Glass... I'd say I'm at about a 6-7... Sort of boards of Canada, autechre level of flat cap wearing goateed wanker (aspirational...), But the hip hop drums and samples and loops approach is still there.
If I've kept anyone's attention for long enough to read this and think "yes! I bloody love the idea of rapping on a borderline pompous but definately experimental arty hip hop track" then please contact me because the chances of finding you are very very slim.
