New production collaboration platform - Stereogate

Heya peeps,

First of all: I hate posting on a forum without any posts in the past. Sorry for that, I'll keep it short and straight forward :)

I didn't see any other way, because I would love to get some opinions about something I've been working on for the past year.

Stereogate (check it out -> stereogate .com)

So Stereogate is a website to find producers, and book sessions with them.

I kinda want to solve the problem: we are all producing, but it's hard to progress. If you want to learn how to play the piano -> you go to a music school, but since making music is digital these days, why not use the internet?

The vision for now is: to get good teachers onboard (talking to a few atm) -> then users can pay for teaching sessions. The broader vision for the future would be -> go to Stereogate -> find a similar producer -> do a session.

So what is a session?

It's a chat room + Zoom (Skype + remote sharing blabla).

So you can actually collaborate on a Ableton session (or Cubase, FL studio whatever) + take control over teach other's computer etc.

Now I'm not here to promote anything, I would love to get opinions.

Do you guys think this is a good idea? Do you guys see this going somewhere? Any opinion would be appreciated greatly.

Thanks a lot,

Mike
