Blend.io New Music Collaboration Network for Ableton and Maschine users

I am the community manager for a new open collaboration network for music creators Blend.io. The network is a creation of a team of hackers/musicians at Betaworks, the company behind Digg, Bit.ly, ChartBeat, Instapaper, and a variety of other companies. The aim is to fill a void in the ever-changing and developing world of digital music creation. Music creation today often includes messy email threads and quirky hacks by the industry's most determined. And though music creators are so passionate about sharing and distributing their work, there isn’t really a "beta" community for them to share it in. Countless products have been built to help people discover, share, and listen to music - but we feel that music collaboration has been left out of the digital revolution. With blend.io, musicians and producers can share in-progress tracks and connect with other musicians to collaborate. You can browse artists and their projects or comment on and remix tracks. (Imagine soundcloud if you were able to not only post the track, but also enable people to download the entire project and then re-upload a revision.)The vision is to enable collaboration for all musicians, but we've decided to focus on electronic music to start - specifically users of Ableton Live and Maschine. We'll add additional support in the near future (Logic X etc.), but want to make sure we get it right for this initial audience. The community is invitation-only at the moment, but anyone actively using Ableton Live or Maschine but members of this forum can use the special invite code "EARLYACCESS" which will allow you to skip the invitation request process and get right in.
