When you send a PM you have an option to save a copy in the Sent folder

Ok, go to your private messages.

In the top right there is a 'jump to folder' option: select Sent Messages.

Now tick the very top white box (next to the words 'Date/Time sent/) - this will select al the messages in your Sent items.

Scroll down to the bottom, and select Delete.
