Magazine!!!

Am I the only one who thinks futureproducers.com should put out an annual magazine? How cool would that be?

I mean, you already have so much knowledge and such a good input system. You guys [people who run FP] must learn 100 new skills and all that in a week!

So, who else thinks this is a good idea? If so, what's gotta get done?

I dont think you understand how hard it would be to put together a magazine, on top of running the website. I mean, magazines take time and if its only annual, it most likely would be pretty big.

What would be put in it? Who would write it? Who would publish it? Etc. All of these things have to take place long before.

In my opinion a forum is 20x better than a magazine, what would be the point?

Yes, it would be crazy to attempt to build a magazine around this site. It would end up being a summation of an already perfectly informative website.

BUT a magazine would have advantages in distilling the good information and, depending on it's format, creating a sense of visibility that might help attract people as potential interviewees.

this has actually come up a few times before, with mixed interest. personally, i think it would be pretty cool. but it would definitely be an undertaking of sorts. . .
