embedding youtube

how do u embed a youtube video?! the [youtube] [/youtube] method does NOT work for me thanks

the youtube tag method has been deprecated (by vBulletin)) in favour of


[video=video-source;video-link]full-url-to-video[/video]


video-source is the provider site , i.e. youtube, vimeo, etc
video-link is everything after the watch?v= in a youtube link and similar for other sources
full-url-to-video is the full link to the video as appears in the address bar e.g. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adsiengfh (that is a nonsense link)

so a full example (based on the url used above) would be


[video=youtube;adsiengfh]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adsiengfh[/video]

Or, yyou could just click the icon on the editor toolbar and past the video URL.

that doesn't always embed properly.....

sometimes it wont embed proper if it has extra extensions on the www. com.. like the =RelatePlay tags and shit , you can delete the extensions and it SHOULD work.. hope it helps
