Embedding SoundCloud in signature?

I see people with their SoundCloud tracks embedded in their signature, but when I try it says I have too many characters, help?

You probably tried using Soundcloud's embed code?
Embed it like this: [SOUNDCLOUD*]yoursoundcloudtrackurl[/SOUNDCLOUD*] and remove the *'s.
Signatures have a character limit, so if you go over it you'll need to make your sig shorter.

I found out that when you paste your link within the [Soundcloud] tags, it might be converted to a hyperlink automatically - you know when it's underlined and becomes clickable. Then the link embeded player won't work. So you'd have to place the cursor somewhere in that hyperlink and click the 'Unlink' button in the menu (the globe with the red X), then it works.
