When you edit a post with the black layout...all of your text is blacked out and you have to highlight it to see it...making it impossible to edit a post! lol

I just tried it and it doesn't happen to me.... The text appears white....
 
When I click my name (D-Low) or someone tries to add me etc, it goes to someone else's page (DLOW) with no dash.
 
small bugbear, but an important one. I use the tab key to access the username field. With the change, the following has happened:

The tab-key index on the home page is now
1~Search Text Field
2~Search Button
3~Username
4~Password

It used to be
1~Username
2~Password
rest unknown as I didn't go further than that


This is a relatively easy fix, requiring simply that the index values in the underlying html be changed to reflect the way it used to be set up, so it would be appreciated if it could be done.

yes. I need to change your username. There is no other way to solve this. PM me with your preferred new name.

A suggestion, more because of search results than anything else

Can we move the "Music Breakroom" out of the "Music Genres" forum area, please?

searching styles/genres for stuff and getting wacked out opinions about obama and other stuff isn't my idea of good search results.

In making this post it also seems that parsing of the noparse tags has now failed to add line breaks that are in the source

Well, I know that the new issues are known but just logging it here so that is documented

Love the autosave

Lost Settings link in top right corner between My Profile and Logout
Editor icons (and, consequently, functions associated with them) in both simple and advanced modes have disappeared
Security token issues
Failing to launch reply editors at time

are just some of the things I have noticed in the last hour.

Thanks for your report. We are working on it.
 
Cross-post to keep it all here - things that are not working

  1. Still no "Settings" link between "Profile" and "Logout"
  2. No Editor Icons short-form or long form
  3. Lists are still broken - you cannot embed a dot list inside a numbered list
    • I may be one of the few (only one?) using them this way but they are invaluable in laying out short form answers with multiple steps/options.

Further on lists as evidenced by a few tests just now
Outer dot lists
  • You can embed
    1. a numbered list inside of a dot list
    • an alphabetised list inside a dot list
    • a Roman list inside a dot list
    • a dot list inside of a dot list

Outer numbered lists
  1. You can embed
    • an alphabetised list inside a numbered list
    • a Roman list inside a numbered list

What browser are you using? I am using Chrome and I see all the icons to post videos/images.... Make sure in your setting it is not set to view only Basic Editor....But to view WYSIWUG.

Until we get back the Setting link, you can access it from the drop down Quick Navigation menu, or just by going to your inbox under notifications.

No WYSIWYG option but standard editor with enhancements.

My browser is Opera 11.52

I enabled the error console (a pain in the but except when developing) and it threw a whole lot of errors including stuff like scripts not being loaded and multiple errors in the main stylesheet - it seems to be complaining about mixing modes of description and modes of operation mostly. One of the reasons why the wwww consortium recommends multiple stylesheets that adapt for different platforms, media and possibly browsers - we have returned to the bad old days of browser sniffing, and most people are using it to exclude traffic instead of embrace it - throwing errors and downright refusing to serve pages if you are not using the right browser.

I'll export some errors for the techs to look at if you like.

also the settings link I am talking about takes you to the USERCp directly which includes a list of current unresponded to notifications, current threads that have responses plus access to everything else that popped up on the inbox page.

Keep losing my credentials.

I login everything is fine for a few minutes then I go to a new page and I've been logged out.

Usually refreshing the page fixes this but of late even this is failing.

So time-to-live for a login must be set way low at the moment (no pausing or you get logged out it seems).

On the Standard Editor you should see all the editing tools...no?
 
Unfortunately not

Neither in quick reply mode or advanced edit mode - no editing tools at all.

I do have trackback and post icons but no emoticons

I'm coping but not sure how others are doing

I don't have any of the tools either, under quick reply or going advanced. Its just the basic text editor.

Using Chrome running Win 7 x64.
