Haha. "The Final Countdown"
Anyway, it does sound like samples of synths. Where every preset was engineered to totally dominate and not play well in a mix no matter where you put the levels. (that will only make sense to 5% of the people in FP, but maybe you are one of them).
Nice melodies on the second and third tracks (the first was nice, but completely not yours...which makes me a little curious about the other two), but I think Nexus is one of those romplers where one or two patches at most should appear in the same song. Those beats would be a lot better if it had other sources for sounds.
Let's be real...There is SEC College Football, and then there is all that weenie stuff everyone else around the country calls "college football"...

yea i noticed that Nexus is a one man show. the effects in it period are too heavy (5% mix = Tasma Hall) . and the plugin itself is VERY loud and i havent figured out how to low its default. but then again, it hard to mix properly in fl Studio due to the percentage instead of db meters
and nice call, that first beat is not mine my original. its something if flipped from a European band
Yes, that European band's name is Europe (from Sweden), by the way and "The Final Countdown" is a very, very recognizable. That famous synth horn lead is from the mighty Polysix...I'm glad I own the KLC.Originally Posted by djba$$ay2k5

omg trusty lol, thats exactly what I thought, everything is VERY HEAVY, but sounds nice. And yes, the Final Countdown was very recognizable, as I have tried to sample that many times in the past lol Nice track though, just needs some better mixing.Originally Posted by Trusty
It's the first time I agree with you, but if you take a track to a big studio it won't be a problem. But you must admit that the sound are really hot.Originally Posted by Trusty
I feel where you're coming from Trusty you just have to know how to mix in the wrong hands it can cause a lot of problems lol...
Its a great program for insperation since the patches are overloaded with fx
When I'm tweaking I always have to eq and seriously reduce the reverb/delay. Adjust the attack release etc.
Its not as flexible as I'd like always but some of the sounds in it are top notch. Its nice for a big epic sound....
And back to the post the 2nd beat is pretty nice just needs a better mix.
Peace

**Random question**
Does Nexus have MIDI out channels? I had a look on the site, it doesn't seem to.
Are that all preset sounds in your beats?
