So I recently got back into beat making after a year or so off to concentrate on rapping. Just made my first beat today in awhile an I must say it felt damn good. Now I've been rocking with Paul nice drum library which has treated me very well, but.. I am looking for some new cleaner drum kits. They can be free or not it doesn matter. I would just like something that sounds good. So if anyone knows of any drum kits that sound pretty damn good. I would appreciate the share. Cheers and peace to all. Keep grinding

Congrats on getting back into it. I recommend Urban Fire 6 by Sonic Specialists. It sounds pretty damn good.

I was going to suggest the MadLib kit, until you said clean.

I use the Prime Loops XXL Hip Hop kit. Has a lot of stuff to comb through and they're diverse enough for stacking.
It runs about $16, or you can find it through other services that the internet provides.

(Sorry, not enough posts for links yet.)

To this day after producing almost every kind of genre, i can assure you the good old 808 stock sounds can go a very long way lol..

Most drum packs are shit, they need some serious cleaning or layered up which there is nothing wrong with that but i have a folder of drum kits ive made over the years from layering or handpicking out of all sort of packs from all sorts of genres..

Have you considered multisampled drums? This is a great way of building drum libraries that a lot of hip hop producers don't use. If that is not your cup of tea Sounds In HD is great as well.
