I see alot of drum packs on here well im looking for instrument ones. Not loops but sounds i can actually play myself, not a fan of taking someone else's loop. Any links to wav samples of instruments of any kind would be greatly appreciated.

hmm that's tricky. i'd try searching for keyboard packages. from people who have recorded sounds directly off keyboards and then uploaded them. i'd try torrentz.com and other downloading sites. or just try using VSTs if you are down with that style of production.
Best sounds are always commercial synths, sample packs, etc. unless you are into torrenting and stealing then the world is yours.

some links on my homepage Free Stuff - RAYZER
Try the VSTs or packs as others suggest first, since they're free, but recommend getting a sample based synth. Fairly cheap, upgradeable and made things a whole hell of a lot easier, imho.
I got 2 JV-1080s off of FleaBay for $120 each and a couple of the expansion cards for $20-50.
In my case, I was looking for orchestral sounds. I burned through VSTs and sample packs like mad and never found one that sounded good.
But the JV, with the Orchestra 1 & 2 expansions has the most lifelike and full bodied samples I've ever heard.Just my $.02
SampleTank FREE is pretty awesome with a TON of free sounds.
There are a number of unusual instruments available on Sampleism: snacks for your samplers (search by format, e.g., Kontakt). This one: Ocean Harp FREE! - Sampleism: snacks for your samplers
is freebie at the moment. Although most of the rest are not free, they're not actually free, most of them are only a couple of bucks each. What you can use will also depends a bit on what software you want to use your instruments with. Kontakt is probably the most widely used, but there are a bunch of sf2 and sfz files floating around the net too.
