I have had good experiences with Arturia Brass. I'm sure there are other options though.

I personally use Edirol for my brass, it works well enough for what I need.

try Garittan Jazz and Big band library for Kontakt...it's probably the best for brass...
hypersonic has some good brasses too....

not too many vsts that have good brasses, hard to find....ill use orchestral, but even when tweaked its not very close to the real thing....i still havent found anything good for horns

It's funny you should say that, because that's what I do. I record brass sections for producers. The price is much lower than you might expect. Check the link in my signature.
