    i have always struggled finding a good prog for a powerfull bassline, just wondering what you guys use/suggest...

    Yup, Trilian for sure. Not sure if you bought it already but just to let you know - it does 'real' bass instruments as well as synth bass. Highly recommended, large on your harddrive though.

    as an owner of both trillian and NI scabree basses... i would say trillian is number 1 and the NI scabree bass are number 1A....they are both quaility instruments...

    for extra stuff.... I really like Rob Papen SubSoomBass.

    It's not better than Trilian of course.... but is a really fun bass-focused synth to play w/. It does some things very well... especially when you play w/ the arp.
