Overall I think it depends on the user. I love Sonar but I can count on my hands how many other people do.

Rewire isn't all that hard its just more work than using a plug in. I rewire Reason every day I have a ton of Reason refills that I love but plug ins are easier to use in a plug in host than rewire.

    I agree %100 with this!

Logic all day hands down! It's almost a rhetorical question really!

I remember there was a time when you didn't even bother with the drums that came with stuff you went out and found your own and it was a unwritten rule.

Yeah it's all about the rewire! I'm not sure if it's just me but whenever I make something using reason it always has a 'distinct' sound, I'm not sure what it is..

    Logic vs Reason

Logic is best for techno, and classical

Reason is best for hip hop, and R&B

    Both have a learning curve

The audio quality is the same
