Logic Pro

I am having the buggest issue regarding which software I should buy. I have a macbook pro and I like to stay consistent with brands. Would Logic Pro be a good program to use for hip hop beat making? Please let me know!!!

i've been using it for years to make hip-hop and it works well for me. it can make things overly complicated when its a very simple thing

a lot of my mates use abeleton for it and swear by it

So i take it that the program is pretty solid? And did you get the whole bundle for $499 or did you only get the software that costs about $200?

nah i got it for free

i very very rarely have problems with it and its good for recording in but check out other daw's as my opinion will be biased towards it as i've used it for long

If i just want top make beats...would I be fine purchasing just logic pro for 199 on apple app store or do i need to buy the whole thing for 499?

The App Store version is the whole thing. The "whole bundle" has been discontinued, but basically everything Logic is in the App Store version - with the exception of Mainstage & Compressor being separate products now.

i See mainsatage is separate from the bundle which cost about 29.95 but am I able to get compressor on the app store still?
