Logic 9 and M Audio Axiom 61 advanced

Hey everybody ok heres my issue if anyone can help.

ok so i have logic pro 9 and an axiom 61, all i have is stock instruments that come with logic. When i select a drum kit on logic default sounds go to the 8 drum pads on the keyboard. How do i individually assign those drum pads to have a certain snare or hi hat, cymbal etc. Second if i want to do this do i need to buy other software instruments and drum packages to have total control

What are some drum packages and instruments i can buy, I'm producing house/dubstep
