komplete 9 flstudio issue

I just got NI Komplete 9 and installed it, and located them in my FL Studio channels and checkmarked them as i would any other vst. And while they pop up and are there to use, i can't access anything other than the initial instrument or sound it opens up with. Everything is there but soon as i click on something else it reads it in the meters as me playing something but no sound or anything. I am completely new to NI and Komplete..am i doing something wrong?
 
Since you spent all that money on it, why not go for the costumer support over at NI and Image-line. I bet they be happy to help.
