How do I copy and paste in the FL Studio playlist? (video inside)

Instead of clicking the "mark"-tool, you can just click CTRL and mark.
Also, a tip: zoom out if you're about to mark something big, that will make it all go faster. Do this by holding CTRL and scroll with the mouse.
To the point:
Once you've marked the desired section of the track, just use the pencil or the draw tool (default when launching FL), click and hold the selected part and drag it where you want.
Or if you want to cut and paste it and it gets in the wrong place, just drag it like you would as I described above.
Go learn about short commands and navigation for FL.

Steffeeh's hit it right, you want to use the "draw" tool in the top left of the playlist. Once you've selected whatever you want to move, just click and hold any of them and drag em.
*Just another tip on dragging; It's going to move however you've snapped things to the grid. The button immediately left of the draw tool gives a drop-down showing how patterns will line up on the grid-lines. Based on your video, use the "Bar" option and it will drag things bar by bar.
