Does anyone know any good soft sounding synths like Drake, or even Kendrick Lamar type synths, preferably free ?

Thats an effect plugin, not a synth. But it´s good. I use it a lot to toss it on synth presets. Maybe thats what you meant him to do?

- unfortunately the target artists don't use free stuff, at least not in the sense that you would like
- they might get it as part of sponsorship deals, but that is not the same as free: quid pro quo means literally what for the and more generally means "I give you something for something that you give me
- it is the basis of most systems of barter (exchange of goods/services between traders)

There's no way to tell what another artist uses

Any synth can probably be tweaked to sound like an exact copy of a drake or kendrick lamar song.

StudiolinkVST has some pretty good packages. I like to make a lot of my sounds in Reason so its hard to say. But I do have friends that use some of these products and they live by them. Good Luck man.
